One standard weekly rental rate

The vehicle has the same standard weekly rental rate for 7-Day Experience, Flexible Monthly and Long-Term Subscription. There is no activation fee or vehicle upfront fee. The accepted Booking Summary states the vehicle, standard weekly rent, first payment and any optional extras.

First-week introductory offer

An eligible customer receives 15% off the standard rent for the first seven days only, rounded to the nearest cent. From week two, any renewal or recurring rental is charged at the accepted standard weekly rent. The discount does not apply to optional member benefits, distance upgrades, card surcharges, security or other properly payable charges.

The offer is available once per customer account. A previous paid BYD rental, delivered or closed rental, or an existing non-cancelled order reserving this introductory offer makes the account ineligible. Creating another order or selecting another rental plan does not renew eligibility. The first payment is recalculated and shown before acceptance if eligibility changes.

First payment and minimum terms

Only the first week of rent is paid in advance at checkout, together with any actively selected extras. This replaces references to four weeks of advance rent, activation fees and vehicle upfront fees in clauses 3.2, 3.3 and 3.6 of the general Terms where they conflict with this schedule. Advance rent is credited to the first seven days and must not be charged again.

The selected minimum term remains seven days for 7-Day Experience, four weeks for Flexible Monthly and 26 weeks for Long-Term Subscription, unless another term is expressly stated and accepted. Paying only one week initially does not shorten the accepted minimum term. The existing cancellation, early-return, notice and consumer-law protections remain applicable.

Distance, security and optional extras

Standard distance remains 500 km per rental week. Optional Carefree KM upgrades, their coverage period and excess-kilometre rate are separately displayed. Security arrangements remain separate from rent. A renewal, price discount or distance upgrade does not extend a vehicle-exchange requirement.

Existing rentals and other terms

This schedule does not retrospectively change an existing accepted quote, order, contract or invoice. A change to an existing rental requires a separately accepted prospective variation. Except for the pricing and initial advance-rent provisions expressly replaced above, the Fun Car Rental Terms & Conditions Version 4.3 continue to apply. Mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.
